  • Reelac E/D contains the active ingredient bromfenac sodium 0.09%, which belongs to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
  • Reelac eye drops are used to reduce eye inflammation and pain after cataract surgery in adults.
  • Reelac E/D is used for the prevention and treatment of cystoid macular edema after cataract or refractive surgeries.
  • Reelac E/D is used to reduce pain, discomfort, and inflammation after refractive surgeries.
  • Reelac E/D is used to treat cystoid macular edema associated with diabetes and ocular diseases, such as uveitis, branch vein retinal occlusion, and corneal ulcer pain.
  • Reelac E/D works to prevent the production of prostaglandins by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase-2 (COX 2), this reduces inflammation inside the eye.
  • Sterile eye drops with a pack size of 5 ml.

Dosage and method of use:

  • The recommended dose of Reelac E/D is one drop in the affected eye(s), twice daily, approximately 12 hours apart.
  • Reelac E/D is continued to be used during the first two weeks after surgery.
  • If using another drop with Reelac E/D, it is recommended to wait 5 minutes before putting in the other drop.
