Iraqi KIMADIA delegation visits Amman Pharmaceutical Industries Company
Amman Pharmaceutical Industries Company received a high-level Iraqi delegation from the General Company for Marketing Drugs and Medical Appliances (KIMADIA). They were received by the company’s General Manager, Dr. Fadi Al-Atrash, along with the Pharmacare Scientific Office in Iraq. The visit comes within an official framework aimed at enhancing pharmaceutical cooperation and consolidating relations between Jordan and Iraq in the pharmaceutical industry.
The delegation’s program included an inspection tour of the Amman Pharmaceutical Industries Company factory, where they were briefed on the latest production lines. The delegation members praised the advanced level achieved by the Jordanian pharmaceutical industry in terms of quality, global standards, and the ability to compete regionally and internationally. In addition to visiting the factory, the delegation was invited to visit some of Jordan’s historical and cultural landmarks, as part of promoting the Kingdom’s tourism industry. The tours included Mount Nebo in Madaba, a view of the Dead Sea, Ajloun Castle, and a cable car experience. The tour also included the Roman Amphitheater in Jerash, Rainbow Street, and downtown Amman.
Both sides emphasized that this visit represents an important step toward strengthening the strategic partnership between Jordan and Iraq in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as opening new horizons for joint cooperation to serve patients and markets in both countries.
