Amman, May 7 (Petra) - Amman Pharmaceutical Industries, represented by its management and employees, donated 100,000 dinars to the Ministry of Health, their contribution to supporting the kingdom's determined efforts led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, in confronting the emerging COV pandemic and containing its economic and social consequences for the country. The company said in a press release Thursday that this contribution by the company's management and staff came to their great appreciation and deep pride for the efforts of various state agencies, notably the Ministry of Health and the Armed Forces - the Arab Army, royal medical services and security services, continuously to protect the country from this epidemic. “The donation came from a sense of responsibility on the part of all the company's cadres, an embodiment of the spirit of solidarity and good citizenship, and sincere care," she said. “To meet the call of the nation under various circumstances and challenges and to believe in its national duty and community responsibility to contribute to the protection of the country and to preserve its resources and achievements. “The statement noted that the company was at the forefront of pharmaceutical companies that we're keen to provide medicines to the market local since the first period of the curfew and the application of defense orders, through continued production and sanitization of all facilities in the factory and abide by all the instructions issued in this regard, in addition to the department's keenness to staff and commitment to their full salaries during the period of the work of the Defense Act.
